The following are frequently asked questions regarding the Gallatin Elemtary PTA. If you have a question that is not answered here, please contact us and we’ll be glad to get back to you.
When does the Gallatin Elementary School PTA meet?
The Gallatin Elementary PTA meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm in the school Cafe.
If I join the PTA, am I OBLIGATED to attend PTA meetings or COMMIT to a PTA volunteer schedule?
Absolutely not. However, we would love to see you at the meetings and have a bit of your volunteer time at some point, but we understand that it is not always possible. Your dues alone are a big help.
Who can join the PTA?
Any adult is eligible to join including: parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, and neighbors.
I joined last year, am I still a member?
No. Dues are renewed annually and expire each October 31st.
What does the PTA do?
The PTA provides funds and manpower to help make our school the best that it can be. The funds underwrite assemblies, events, teacher support, etc. PTA volunteers plan and staff a wider range of events as listed on the school calendars.
